Experienced postdoctoral student to analyze whole transcriptomes in liver cirrosis

We look for postdoctoral fellows with skills in molecular biology, RNA research and tissue culture. We will bonus experience in bioinformatics (sequence comparison and RNA folding), liver or liver cirrhosis. We search for enthusiastic scientists with leader abilities, hard workers that enjoy working in a team. The applicant should be available for the position between February and September 2010.

We offer a 5 year position paid by a CONSOLIDER project from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The project will be carried out in the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA. Pamplona. Spain). Collaborators of the project are several groups of the Center of Genomic Regulation (CRG. Barcelona. Spain) and other labs from Madrid (CBMSO) and Barcelona (UPF, IRB). Candidates could perform short terms at these locations. The project involves whole transcriptome analysis by deep sequencing of cirrhotic samples and validation of the results in different animal models and human samples.
